DMI is committed to the ongoing aesthetic improvement in downtown, including cohesive signage and banners, litter and debris removal as well as flower planting, watering and weeding. With the help of our dedicated Beautification Squad and more than 100 sponsor businesses, DMI is able to plant and maintain more than 2,000 flowers annually. For over 16 years, a community of donors and volunteers have joined the City of Mansfield and DMI to beautify downtown. Each year, we strive to make the community aesthetically pleasing through a concentrated effort including planting over 1,000 flowers in more than 150 containers throughout downtown. Through these efforts we have national recognition and received many compliments from community members and visitors.
This work would not be possible without your support! The goal of the 2025 PlantLove campaign is to raise $12,000 and will allow for the purchase of flowers, greenery, mulch and more! Planting and cleanup day will be held on Tuesday, May 20. Volunteers are welcome and will be provided with gloves, trash bags and refreshments. Trowels and tools are not provided.
